ISMail EP can be setup to use LDAP as an external database. An external database may contain:
ISMail EP also includes an LDAP server (based on OpenLDAP). This (or any other) LDAP server may be used for the external database and to contain other directory information.
A remote web-based interface, and a set of command line tools are included for managing the local LDAP server configuration, and for communicating with local or remote LDAP servers.
